About Academy of Russian Classical Ballet
Located in Southeast Michigan, the Academy’s facility features over 17,000 square feet of space, with four state-of-the-art studios (all with sprung Marley floors and large viewing windows), onsite costuming and wardrobe, dressing rooms, kitchen, study room and ample waiting lounges. The Academy was honored with UNESCO inclusion, and was named the Official Best Ballet Academy of Michigan. The Academy is the only ballet studio in Michigan with multiple instructors who hold degrees from professional ballet institutions and had careers with professional ballet companies. We are also the only studio in Michigan with an instructor who has a Masters Degree in Ballet Pedagogy and Character Dance from Russia’s Moscow Choreographic Institute, and attended teacher training courses at the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg.
