Both Fred and Deb are certified by the most prestigious professional ballroom dance organization in the world: American International Dancers Association (AIDA) formerly, the U.S. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (U.S.I.S.T.D) as teachers, competing professionals, and adjudicators serving students seeking ballroom dance lessons in Harrisburg and nearby Central Pennsylvania communities. Fred,Deb, and Rhonda have over 38 years teaching experience, offering beginner ballroom dancing, wedding dance lessons in Harrisburg, and private dance lessons to adults and teens. Ballroom Break Dance Studio was formed in 1988 by Frederic Shipley and Deborah Davis. They felt there was a need in the Greater Harrisburg area to provide good quality dance lessons at an affordable price. Most of all to keep it fun, because that’s what dancing is all about!
