About Dance Connection in Brooklyn
I’ve been taking dance lessons with Laurie Shayler at Dance Connection for a long time and there’s nobody better to learn partner dancing from. She has a remarkable ability to break down any dance sequence and then communicate to you, the student, how to perform each movement. I feel that she has brought me into a new relationship with my body through her dance instruction. Laurie has a friendly and fun teaching style and she is always ready to review anything you feel you need help with. She is sometimes assisted by her husband Ricardo and brother-in-law Jose Luis. They are both excellent instructors and great fun when they lead a class.
