About Dance with Alexis in Los Angeles
Her formal training includes studies at the Fern Adair Academy of Performing Arts and the Interlochen School of the Arts. Alexis earned her teaching certification through DVIDA, which offered her the foundational training necessary to succeed in the ballroom world. She is a member of ProDVIDA (Dance Vision International Dance Association), NASSPDA (North American Same-Sex Partner Dance Association) , and the NDCA (National Dance Council of America). Whether wanting to learn to dance for yourself or learning for a special event — salsa, club dances, or any of the ballroom dances— she can help you fulfill your dance goals. “I find her extremely motivating, and she is very good at breaking down dance moves. Also, her impromptu demonstrations of dance moves make excellent teaching videos for later reference.
