Eastern Iowas Original Honky-Tonk – DanceMor Ballroom is a historic Texas-style dance hall located in the quaint community of Swisher, Iowa! Take a step back in time when you walk through the doors and set foot on the original dance floor from 1929 – which once stood alone as an open air dance floor in the center of town, with only a fence surrounding it and a circus tent above! For nearly a century it’s drawn legendary crowds from near and far for dances, live music, weddings and special events of all kind! Join us every Wednesday & Thursday evening for Public Line Dancing from 7-10pm, doors open @ 6:30pm. Cost is $5 per person, all ages & skill levels welcome. Whether you’re visiting solo or with friends, you’re sure to have a great time.
