About Danceworks, Inc. in Milwaukee
Christal Wagner grew up attending Richards School of the Dance in Oshkosh, Wisconsin where she received her early dance education. At Richards she trained in vaudeville and theatrical dance. Her training was furthered by her time on the Panther Dance Team at UWM and partner dance styles such as Ballroom Latin styles, Salsa, West Coast Swing, and Lindy Hop. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2007. She has danced locally with Your Mother Dances, Danceworks Performance MKE, Dawn Springer, and Gina Laurenzi Dance Projects and has choreographed for Skylight Music Theatre, Danceworks, Milwaukee Ballet II, and is a founding member of the trio Cadance Collective.

M ike Konkel and Sheli Schroeder are nationally recognized swing dance competitors. West Coast Swing is their passion and specialty. They began their dance partnership in 2003. They competed on the National Swing Dance Circuit in the Classic Swing division for 16 years. They are most proud of their two US Open wins; Teams (2004) and Sophisticated Swing Division (2017).
