About Gulf Coast Dancenter in Largo
As a student seeking a professional career in ballet , I grew up in a studio that was filled with love and support from my dance friends and teachers. It was a beautiful environment in many ways, and I am deeply grateful for it. However, I began to realize that what it lacked was a strong and consistent foundation in ballet. My training came from a jazz-focused studio that also happened to be strong in ballet, but it was not structured in a way that fully prepared my body and mind for that path. I have also come to understand, through watching my parents’ journey, how important the relationship is between a dancer’s family and their teacher.
