About Legacy Dayton Dance Studio in Dayton
Fast forward 15 years . . . I had moved back to Kettering and both of my daughters were dancing at my old studio. I had completed my master’s degree and was working full time as a Nurse Practitioner. I was also teaching dance on the side at my old studio. In 2018, my dance teacher and mentor, Wendy Streib, decided to retire. She offered for me to take over after her retirement. At first I was quite unsure, but then I recalled how owning a dance studio had been my dream as a child. I remembered the “recital” I performed for my parents in our living room when I was 10 years old. I had choreographed 15 dances with my friend and my dogs. I had even created a program for the performance.
