About New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, Inc. in New Orleans
The fully renovated facility includes 7 state-of-the-art classrooms outfitted for music instruction, a 200-seat auditorium, and a recording studio.. The Foundation joins New Orleans in mourning the loss of James B. Borders IV, a historian, journalist, writer, and distinguished voice in our community. James was a dear supporter, thought partner, and friend of the Foundation, dedicating his time and expertise to our Advisory Council, Board of Directors, and Honor Council for over two decades. We remember James with lasting gratitude for the knowledge, service, and cultural memory he shared with us. His contributions to the cultural life of New Orleans will remain part of the history he spent his life preserving.
