About Nina’s School of Dance in Durham
I started dancing at age 3. I was under the tutelage of Olive Godwin, from Durham, N.C. She made a profound impact on my life. We danced all over North Carolina. At age 16, I stayed in NYC for six weeks, and attended the Dance Educators of America, dance teacher training school. Mrs. Godwin lined me up to do summer stock with the Radio City Rockettes, but I would not move from home. I finished the training school in 4 years, and completed the Masters Program, with affiliation to New York University. I started dancing at age 3. I was under the tutelage of Olive Godwin, from Durham, N.C. She made a profound impact on my life. We danced all over North Carolina.
