About Power of Dance
A longtime member of the Power of Dance family, Payton danced at the studio for 15 years. She started in Dance Expressions and then joined POD’s first-ever Tiny team at the age of 5. She continued as part of the All-Star program and later joined POD’s first-ever Youth Kick team. As a senior team dancer, she competed with POD at Dance Worlds from 2022 through 2024, helping earn a second-place finish for their kick routine Beautiful People. Payton’s favorite dance styles to perform are hip hop and kick. Through the studio’s Junior Faculty program, Payton served as a volunteer student helper for five years, assisting with both Academy classes and All-Star teams.
