About SUU Ballroom in Cedar City
Sami Kevern , a passionate dancer, started her journey in 2008 with Davis County Ballroom. Her notable talent led her to win numerous national titles in both syllabus and team events. In 2016, she joined the SUU Ballroom Dance Company, where she showcased her skills on the Tour Team. Beyond her dancing prowess, Sami held leadership roles, including Secretary and Vice President. It was during this time that she met her husband, Gage. Together, they continued on and dedicated themselves to supporting the team with choreography and co-founded Cedar City Ballroom. They sought to bring ballroom dance to the community by offering youth and adult classes. With a degree in Education, Sami has a passion to inspire confidence, creativity, and connection in every student she meets.
