About TC Swing in Minneapolis
Cindy has been teaching Swing Dance forever, specializing in Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Charleston and Aerials. Trained in ballet, jazz and ballroom dance, she’s passionate about Lindy Hop because it’s so fun, creative and playful, and it’s great for social interaction and self-expression. She loves working with dancers of all ages and abilities, as well as local and regional colleges and high schools. Cindy formed her team Rhythm & Swing to present and promote Lindy Hop and vernacular jazz dances through public performances and programs. In addition to dynamic works for her team, she has choreographed for Macalester College’s 1940s Radio Hour and Faribault Community Theater’s The Wizard of Oz , among others. Her high-energy ensemble is regularly featured at the Minnesota State Fair, Commemorative Air Force Hangar Dances, and countless festivals and events.
