Janet has loved dance and musical theater for as long as she can remember. Trained in Jazz, Salsa, Bachata, and Zouk, she has performed and competed in both college and workplace amateur dance competitions, earning top placements. Now, as a Tutu School mom and owner, she’s excited to create a joyful, nurturing space where children can discover the magic of dance from an early age. This class is the highlight of my daughter’s week. She’s always excited and engaged which isn’t always easy for a 2 year old. Teacher Bella is incredible with the kids, they’re lucky to have her and my daughter adores her. The environment is welcoming and safe. Couldn’t ask for anything more from the class.

Shaina began her dance training when she was 3 years old at A Step Above Dance and Music Academy in Monona, WI where she was also a member of the competitive dance company. She has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, musical theater, hip hop, contemporary, modern, improvisation, African, and dance composition. At the collegiate level, Shaina had many performance opportunities including university dance department showcases and the American College Dance Association festivals. Shaina has been teaching dance to students ages 2-18 since 2014. Her choreography has received awards including “Best Choreography”, “Creative Concept”, and “Most Entertaining” at several competitions including Dupree Dance, Rainbow Dance Competition, and Imagine Dance Challenge. Shaina’s favorite part about teaching is seeing the students beam with excitement when they master a skill and perform on stage.
