About Farrah Valdez Dance in Salt Lake City
It was my freshman year in college that I discovered ballroom dance and fell in love. I graduated with a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University in dance with an emphasis in Ballroom (fun fact: it was in college that I was able to take a private lesson with Karina Smirnoff from Dancing with the Stars!) I studied many forms of dance, and also had a rewarding experience performing with BYU’s Ballroom Dance Company. When I am not teaching, you can find me around Salt Lake taking dance classes such as: Ballet, Salsa, Heels, Bachata, Hip Hop, West Coast Swing, Jazz Funk, Lindy Hop, Tango, AfroDance, Burlesque, Country, Blues, Bollywood and any other class with the word “dance” in it.
